Crowne Plaza Hotel Extension Singapore

We are pleased to announce that we, in sub-contract to Dragages Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Bouygues Bâtiments of France, have recently been awarded the project to build the Crowne Plaza Extension at Changi Airport Singapore. Awarded by OUE Airport Hotel Pte Ltd, the hotel features 243 additional guestrooms in a 10 storey building designed by WOHA, a leading Asian architecture practice and RSP Architects and Planners. Unitised Building is working with its structural engineers Robert Bird Group and KTP of Singapore in its partnership with Dragages to build the room modules in our state-of-the-art factory in Shanghai (China) and then shipping them to Singapore. This project was won due in part to the use of the alternative scheme of Pre-fabricated Pre-finished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) and is a first for a hotel in Singapore. The hotel will be manufactured and installed in mid 2015. For full press article please see following link – Dragages Singapore Announcement 4 August 2014
